Gowest Gold, a mining company with a location North of Timmins, is about to get a second property North East of Kidd Mine. A 500 thousand dollar investment in shares from the Chinese company Fortune Future Holdings is helping the move along, and Fortune Future is also looking to buy another almost $3 million in shares. Timmins Mayor Tom Laughren says Fortune has a reputation of investing strategically and seeking out winners, and he’s excited at the prospects of seeing a new mine development in Timmins.
