Kathleen Wynne is putting pressure on the federal government to fund infrastructure in Ontario. At a summit in Toronto last week, Wynne asked for funding to be increased to $12 billion a year, four times what Ontario gets now. The provincial government is set to spend over $1 billion on the Ring of Fire, even if backing from the feds doesn’t come through.
