If your clocks are flashing when you get home today, don’t panic!
A truck struck a hydro pole on Riverside Drive, right near J&B Cycle & Marine Co., causing 4,984 customers to be without power this morning.
Late this morning, the truck struck the pole, causing it to be snapped in half. Hydro One workers responded to the scene quickly, and are repairing the downed hydro pole.

The outage is effecting customers from Mountjoy, all the way to Home Depot, along Riverside Drive.
Reports from Hydro One-workers state that the power should be restored by 12:15pm EST.
