The Timmins and District Multicultural Centre is hosting a United Nations International Day of Peace reception today. It takes place at the Schumacher Lions Entertainment Pavilion from noon to 1 pm.
As part of the event there is a photo contest where you are invited to submit one photo taken in the park and send a short note of what peace means to you. The winners will be announced tomorrow at the reception.
