For the third consecutive year, Rock on the River at Hollinger Park in Timmins has two Fun Days, Friday, July 19th and Saturday the 20th during the day.
Timmins Festivals and Events director of sponsorship Norm Dwyer says it begins Friday morning with an Indigenous showcase.
“We rent bouncy castles,” Dwyer says. “Kiwanis Club has rented out Mini-Putt from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Climbing Fun will be there with her foam parties and her rope climbing and her rock climbing and her little animal rides things.”
Saturday features local musicians and a car show that includes the crusher stunt show. Four-wheelers, dirt and BMX bikes and snowmobiles will be jumping from a 30-foot ramp.
Admission is free, but bring some cash to use at food and craft vendor booths.
