A 24-year-old Cochrane Man is facing three counts of break and enter and seven counts of failing to comply with a probation order, after police responded to a recent string of break and enters.
The OPP says in late July, officers responded to an alarm at a commercial building in Cochrane, and though they found evidence of a break in, no one was inside.
Around midnight yesterday (Aug. 8), the OPP says officers responded to a person breaking into vehicles in a parking lot, and though the suspect was identified, they were gone upon police arrival.
30 minutes later, the OPP says a suspect was seen attempting to enter a home on Fourth Street and was placed under arrest. They add 14 minutes later, another call came in about a break-in at another home.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
