Your commute could be a little longer this week.
The City of Timmins says Waterloo Road will be closed all week from Algonquin Boulevard and Messine Avenue. City crews say they will be installing a new fire hydrant on the road.
The city says drivers should avoid the area and pedestrians will have to use the east sidewalk. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday.
The Public Utilities Department is apologizing for any inconvenience.
