No collisions to report, however:

  • Roblin Street is open to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY from Riverside Drive to Lawlor Avenue, due to Hyrdro One replacing hydro poles

School buses have been CANCELLED for the day for Timmins and all surrounding areas, schools will remain OPEN. For more details, click on the link here.

Snow Removal Schedule for Thursday, February 27th, 2020:

Thursday, February 27th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins South: Middleton, Bannerman, Kent, Windsor
  • Timmins South: Birch (Second to Moneta), Balsam (Second to Ogden), Cedar (Second to Ogden)

Thursday, February 27th, starting at 9:30 PM:

  • No scheduled snow removal

The City of Timmins Winter Parking By-Law is now in effect. From November 1st, 2019 to April 30th, 2020, vehicles may not park on the streets overnight, from 11:30pm to 7:30am. Cars can park overnight in areas with signage that reads “Parking Permitted Unless Otherwise Posted”. Towing will occur anytime an illegally parked vehicle interferes with winter operations, like snow plowing. More details about the Winter Parking By-Law can be found here.
