The Ontario Provincial Police along with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry need your help in solving several forest fires in the Watabeag Lake area in Nordica Township.
On the afternoon of June 23rd, 2023, unknown suspects deliberately lit several forest fires during a Restricted Fire Zone. If not for the rapid response from the MNRF Forest Fire Crews and local cottagers, the loss of our forests and property could have been catastrophic.
As a community let’s catch the people responsible for this senseless crime.
