Timmins Ringette teams picked up two silver medals and a gold at the Paris Ontario tournament over the weekend.
The Timmins U-12 team dumped the Sault Ice Hawks 4-1 in the championship game to claim top spot. The U14 team fell 5-4 to the Sault Ice Hawks in the championship final to settle for silver.
The U16A team collected silver medals after falling 5-2 in the final to Forest. The U19 team wasn’t able to get a medal at the event but showed determination, growth and progress.
All of the teams will be off to the provincial championships in Sault Ste. Marie in the middle of next month.
